A bit about me

Ok, firstly thank you for clicking on my link. Let’s not over-complicate things with long words, we are here to get the best possible therapy for you! My name is Sue and I have over 10 years experience in this field. Whilst my core training is Person centred, I may use other types of therapies in order to give you the best outcome during your journey. After all, no two people are the same. Counselling isn’t just about talking, it’s about being truly heard, gaining clarity, and taking steps towards positive change. If you’re wrestling with feelings of overwhelm, anxiety, depression, or a sense of purposelessness, know that you’re not alone. I’m here to help. When things get too much it’s often hard to see clearly and find the right path. Life’s challenges may have knocked you down, but they don’t define you. Through counselling, you’ll regain a sense of self and learn how to unleash your full potential. Drawing from my experiences in areas such as domestic abuse, coercive control, bereavement, anxiety, depression, low mood and relationship issues, I provide a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your emotions and experiences. Together, we’ll unravel the complexities of your situation and work towards understanding, self-awareness and healing. I never believed in therapy until I needed it the most, having experienced different types of trauma and loss from a young age, I grew up trusting no one and believing nothing, being hugely independent, never allowing anyone to get close, after all, everyone lets you down. However, after yet another mistake. I found myself reluctantly accepting support. I had to be broken before allowing myself to be worthy of kindness. From there, that seed was planted and my counselling journey began, it wasn’t easy but it was necessary for me to have my eyes opened. I feel passionately about helping others, helping you!
