For Organisations
Workplace Mental Health Consultancy
Therapist-led training & workshops that actually support your people.
What Self Space offers
A one-off wellness workshop is a sticking plaster, not a solution. Drawing on deep clinical and therapeutic expertise, we offer a tailored, consultative and real-world-grounded approach to culture, training & development.
Our workplace mental health consultancy programmes are a tailored blend of solutions designed to support your organisation from the inside out. Usually we start with diagnostics to pinpoint exactly where your team needs support, then create a roadmap that combines expert-led CPDs with other culture, training and development solutions.
This can range from our industry-leading Tools for Leaders, Crisis Response, and Mental Health Champions courses, to specific employee workshops designed to drive more open conversations around mental health and long-lasting support, to bespoke solutions for every (messy) workplace.
No fluff, no clinical jargon or mundane workshop you half listen to while cracking on with a project, just the right ingredients to make change actually stick.
How we work with organisations
1. Bespoke diagnostics, consultation, solution design and delivery:

Company on the Couch
The most comforting spot in the office.
Get ahead of the burnout and extinguish those flames the moment you spot the smoke. Most businesses only notice mental health when the wheels fall off, burnout builds, the resignations begin to come in and employees take numerous sick days.
Our Company on the Couch programme is about looking under the hood before that happens. Through clinician-led diagnostics, we map where the pressure is building and where the culture is thinning out. It’s a deep dive into the collective psyche of your organisation, helping you move from reactive fire-fighting to proactive, radical care.
2. CPD Programmes that build real capability

Mental Health Champions CPD
Culture isn’t what’s written in the handbook; it’s what happens in the kitchen or over Slack. Because the truth is, people crave human connection in the workplace, which is exactly what Mental Health Champions provide. They aren’t just “first aiders”, they’re the on-hand guardians of everyday mental maintenance.
We train your chosen team to be credible, safe points of contact who help normalise talking about the hard stuff. It means fewer people struggling in silence and a culture that uses real people to look out for its own.
No more waiting lists or daunting HR meetings, just a cuppa in the kitchen with a person who just gets you.

Crisis Risk & Response Training CPD
Keeping steady when the floor shakes.
Restructures, redundancies, and critical incidents are part of business that you wish you could leave at your desk, but are carried home, snuggled up somewhere between your laptop case and your nervous system. But change doesn’t have to be so anxiety-inducing.
Our Crisis Risk & Response training equips HR and senior leaders to show up with structure and care when the pressure is at its highest. We provide the frameworks to manage difficult moments with dignity and empathy, protecting your people and your stability when it matters most.
Better to be prepared than to be sorry. Because being prepared isn’t just good business, it’s the human thing to do.
3. Workshops, Tools, Training & Content Packages tailored to you, often structured around 4 core business need areas

Teams, Culture & Open Conversations
Many of us choose not to open up at work about our mental health due to fear of being judged or misunderstood – which is exactly what this series of workshops aims to change.
We don’t just address mental health, we mould your culture around it. From workshops on communication and feedback, to inclusive support for work (and life’s!) major changes, we give your team the tools and power to normalise talking about the messy, real, human side of work.

Change, Crisis, & High-Strain Support
When the unexpected happens, it can be hard to ‘keep calm and carry on’ in the workplace.
We provide clinical support and practical tools for moments that test a company’s soul. Whether it’s in the moment support (on-site or online) for Managers and HR teams navigating a sudden crisis, or our Navigating Organisational Change and Decompression Sessions for employees workshops, to our Mental Maintenance For People People sessions, we’re there.
From restructures and redundancy to bereavement and crisis, we’re here to put the human back into human resources, fostering a culture to support your people through every stage of the unexpected.

Managers As Health Enablers
According to 69% of the UK workforce, how managers show up and their ability to lead has a huge impact on their employees mental health, essentially making them the ‘nervous system’ of the company.
From C-Suite reflective sessions to Difficult Conversations training, we equip managers at every level to balance high performance with healthy boundaries, so that they can perform their best for their team, for themselves and the role.
Mental health culture doesn’t happen by accident
It’s built in the everyday bits of work. Like how managers check in. Or how people talk about pressure. Or the way teams respond when someone’s struggling. It’s about giving people the space to be honest before things tip into crisis.
We help workplaces move from well-meaning wellbeing activity to real, therapist-led support that changes how people feel, talk, lead and look after each other at work.
Maybe your managers need better tools. Maybe your team needs a workshop that doesn’t feel like a tick-box exercise. Maybe the culture needs something deeper than another wellbeing moment. We start by understanding what’s really going on, then shape the right support around it.

If you’d like a quote, we’d happily send one through. Please contact partnerships@theselfspace.com for more info. Likewise, you can use the form above!
Once you’ve partnered with us, your people accessing the service is the next step. We always kick off every partnership with a free launch talk which will signpost exactly where people need to go to get started. First, they’ll need to register using their company email, which they can do through our website. It can take up to 24 hours to link an employees account so we recommend registering right away so it’s there later if you need it. However, if you register and want to see a therapist right away email us on hey@theselfspace.com and we’ll link your account immediately. The next step is to book in for a session! Employees can head to our booking page when you’re ready to book in, remember to select the appointment type ‘Self In The City – Company Paid’. If they aren’t sure who to book with they can look on the team page or fill out the therapy match form.
The short answer is yes! We have partners who have clients spread worldwide. The slightly longer answer is that in order to work with international clients, there are a few safeguarding bits that need to be in place before the work can go ahead. If you’ve got a sales call booked in with us, we’d be happy to go over these with you. To find out more email partnerships@theselfspace.com
To support the international work, we’ve got therapists who are able to practice in the languages spoken below: English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Dutch, Greek, Bulgarian, Farsi, Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi and Polish.
Trust is an integral part of a therapist-client relationship; therefore, all Self Space sessions will be kept confidential. However there might be certain circumstances where the therapist may have to consider breaking a client’s confidence for their own safety. This could be if there is a risk of immediate harm to the client or to another person. The therapist will explain how they work at your first Self Space session. In some situations, it might be necessary for therapists to share notes, for example if you see more than one therapist.
We currently have four physical spaces across London: Borough, Shoreditch, Soho, and King’s Cross, where therapists are available for face-to-face sessions. All our therapists also offer virtual sessions, ensuring support for those outside London or anyone who prefers online therapy from the comfort of their own home.
