For Organisations

Diagnostic Psychiatric Insight

For employees who may need more than a talking space, we bring together expert psychiatric assessment from the London Psychiatry Clinic and ongoing therapy support from Self Space as a joined up approach. Helping people understand what’s going on, what they might need, and what comes next.

What Self Space offers

When someone is struggling, it can be hard to know what’s really going on. What might look like underperformance, disengagement, difficulty coping or someone on the verge of burnout can sometimes be a sign of something deeper that needs proper understanding.

Patchy psychiatric routes shouldn’t be the reason your people stay stuck.

We provide fast, compassionate Diagnostic Psychiatric Insight Pathways to get to the “why” behind the struggle. In partnership with London Psychiatry Clinic, we bring together expert psychiatric assessment and qualified Self Space therapists to provide answers, clarity and a joined-up plan for ongoing support.

Because diagnosis isn’t the end of the journey, we help give individuals a map, and help managers and organisations understand how to support people safely, humanly and well.

Why Diagnostic Assessments Can Help

When things don’t feel right, it can feel like being lost in a maze – but an assessment is a way out. It’s an opportunity to stop guessing, understand your unique patterns, and explore if ADHD or Autism might be part of your story.

For your team, it offers a clear path forward. For organisations, it turns ‘theoretically’ supportive policies into real, human-centered adjustments that actually work.

When specialist insight may help

This pathway is designed for organisations and HR teams who want to provide employees with access to high-quality, specialist mental health care when therapy alone might not be enough.

It may be helpful when someone is experiencing:

Emotional regulation challenges

When feelings, reactions or overwhelm are becoming harder to manage day to day.

Questions around ADHD, autism or neurodivergence

When someone is looking for clearer understanding, language and the right next steps.

Difficulties that haven’t shifted with previous support

When someone has tried other routes, but still feels stuck, unclear or unsupported.

How it works

1

Start with a conversation

Your journey begins with a chat with one of our Self Space therapists. Together, you’ll explore what’s been going on and whether a diagnostic assessment might be helpful.

2

Referral to London Psychiatry Clinic

If it feels right, we’ll refer you directly to the London Psychiatry Clinic. They’ll be in touch within 48 hours to arrange your assessment.

3

A comprehensive assessment

You’ll meet with an experienced consultant psychiatrist for a thorough diagnostic assessment.

4

Ongoing support with Self Space

Once your assessment is complete, you’ll continue working with your Self Space therapist to make sense of the findings and turn insight into practical next steps.

What's Included

Confidentiality and consent

This is support for the employee, not a diagnostic tool for the employer.

Clinical information, diagnostic outcomes and personal session details are not shared with the organisation without the employee’s explicit consent. Where workplace support is needed, we help make that conversation clearer, safer and more useful, while protecting the individual’s privacy.

What organisations get

A clearer, safer route for employees who may need specialist mental health support.

We help organisations move beyond guesswork, signposting and fragmented care. Where appropriate, we can support conversations around reasonable adjustments, ongoing therapy, manager guidance and the conditions that help someone stay well at work.
