Omar Aljabareen

On new paths:

I completed a BSc in Biology from Hebron University, Palestine in 2004. Then a MSc in Biotechnology from Yarmouk University, Jordan in 2008. I tried to complete a PhD at King’s College London but the recession in 2010 meant my funding was cut and I couldn’t afford to continue. I sent thousands of job applications all over the UK but I couldn’t find work. I had to turn my back on science and I started my falafel stall here in Soho.
