A bit about me

Hi there, I’m Sophie. I’m a BACP therapeutic counsellor and psychoeducation lead at Self Space.

Previous clients have included engineers, performers, NHS professionals, ambitious souls, creatives, students, teachers and anyone facing the changes and shifts that life can suddenly throw at us. I’ve previously worked with young people and have experience working for the NHS.

I offer a warm, grounded, comfy space where you can reflect on difficulties and talk through anything you feel might be holding you back or weighing you down. I support those struggling with stress, depression, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, relationship difficulties, work-related stress, trauma, loss, grief and more. I aim to create a compassionate, inclusive, collaborative space where people feel seen, heard, and understood.

My approach integrates unpicking the past and your life experiences, and considers what’s going on for you in the here and now, and how that impacts you physically and emotionally. Together, we’ll be curious about your world, your relationship with yourself, and how we can support you in moving towards the life you want to live.
