A bit about me

I’m a qualified Art Psychotherapist with over a decade of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s most challenging moments.

For the past 10 years, I’ve worked extensively in the bereavement sector, holding space for people as they navigate grief, loss, and complex emotions that come with it. I’m HCPC accredited and a registered member of BAAT. I bring both clinical experience and creative depth to the therapy space.

My approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative. I believe that therapy should be a place where you feel safe to explore who you are—without pressure. I often integrate creative and reflective methods, but you don’t need to consider yourself “artistic” to benefit from art psychotherapy. Sometimes, images can say what words can’t and that can be incredibly powerful. I have a particular interest in identity and how our experiences of culture, intersectionality, and belonging shape us. I’ve lectured on these themes and co-authored a book exploring identity and culture in therapeutic work. This lens is central to how I practice: with openness, curiosity, and a strong respect for each person’s story.

I work with people from all walks of life and am committed to creating an inclusive and affirming space. Whether you’re dealing with grief, struggling in a relationship, or feeling uncertain about who you are, I aim to support you in understanding yourself more deeply and finding ways to move forward that feel right for you.
