I offer a safe space where we can explore and make sense of your concerns and work towards developing greater capacity for dealing with issues that have caused emotional suffering. I have worked with people in need of emotional support for more than ten years. My particular interest is working with individuals experiencing life stage events such as divorce separation, new baby, new job, lost job.
Having attained a Master’s degree, I possess an extensive background of working with individuals facing emotional struggles like anxiety, stress, and relationships. Some people come to deal with a very specific issue that is creating emotional distress in their present lives, others want to understand troubling past experiences or change the quality of their relationships with their family and friends. By exploring the roots and nature of your concerns I can help understand and potentially change emotional patterns so you can look forward to a better future.
I offer therapy to individuals of various ages and backgrounds, and experienced in providing therapy to people adapting to parenthood. I have a special interest in helping parents contextualise their feelings, assessing for any encounters or trauma which may affect both relations as well as parenting style, and working with people affected by divorce separation to find a strong sense of self so they can rebuild healthy relationships. Having therapy can be different for each person, and particular to their engagement with the therapeutic process and the relationship with their therapist. I am currently working with clients online only.
