Mental Health Awareness.
When we live in societies that ignore the suffering & inequalities of others, depending on their visual disparities to ourselves.
When our information is based on messages of manipulation & lies.
When our mainstream entertainment is merely part of a structure of societal abuse, based on the suppression of vulnerable & the reinforcement of cultural misogyny.
When we become increasingly disconnected through our mechanisms of interconnection.
When the screams of the suffering are met only with our silence.
When our answers reside in an industry of pharmaceutical answers, manipulated in costs & distributions & availability.
When the governance of our leaders leads us only to division & disillusionment.
When we are left without voice into a system without any choice.
When our idiosyncratic natures are no longer celebrated & are oppressed into conforming obscurity.
Then, maybe, we as that society, need to think & collectively be mental health aware…
