I’m an integrative therapist who supports people to deepen their understanding and acceptance of themselves in a way that honours who they are as a person. My therapeutic style is warm, expansive and collaborative, always seeking to understand current issues in the context of past experiences, and how they have been impacted by cultural, societal or familial pressures. I draw from a diverse range of approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), existential, narrative and attachment theory. I’m interested in engaging people as their true selves and working together to create a safe, authentic and vulnerable connection. Therapy can change the way we look at the world by giving us new insights– shifting lifelong narratives, uncovering hidden depths of emotion and discovering unhelpful patterns that may be holding us back. It’s also a unique opportunity to learn more about ourselves, explore the various identities we all hold, untangle relationship issues or just be a safe space to talk about the big things on our mind. I became a therapist after being profoundly impacted by my own experience in therapy and believe that self knowledge, awareness and acceptance can empower us to have a deeper, more nourishing connection to ourselves and to others.
