Hi, I’m Olivia. I’m a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with 10 years’ experience of helping individuals and couples in the NHS and private sector. My approach to therapy is collaborative, empathetic and direct. I believe therapy should be guided by your unique needs and goals.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is very helpful if you’re feeling low, struggling with your self-esteem or anxious (this could include general anxiety, OCD, social anxiety and panic). It helps look at day to day patterns of your thoughts, behaviours and emotions and how these may be informed by past experiences and beliefs. By understanding these patterns, we can work on challenging them to create meaningful, lasting change.
When working with couples, I focus on understanding how each partner’s behaviours, thought patterns and environment impact the relationship. We’ll explore techniques to improve communication and strengthen your connection, helping you build a healthier, more connected relationship.
Over the years I’ve had the privilege of supporting people though a wide range of difficulties including depression, eating disorders, OCT, PTSD, social anxiety, relationship issues, stress and low self-esteem. I have worked with many new mothers, pre and post birth, with feelings of anxiety or low mood.
I’m here to help you navigate whatever challenges you’re facing.
