Your body is a battleground they said
You’re the young lady who fought to live they said
It’s a miracle you’re alive they said

I moved my broken body with every breath
Bit by bit we are becoming one, it said
Now we are an army the voice in my head said
‘How will we choose to live?’ the voice in my head now says…
