I’m a BACP-registered Therapeutic Counsellor working with people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, even if on the outside everything looks fine. Maybe you’re anxious, low, tearful, irritable, or just not sure why things feel off. Or even you might know something needs to change, but aren’t sure what your next step is.
People often come to therapy when life feels heavier than it should, stress builds up, relationships feel tricky, work takes over, a change, or loss knocks things off balance. Sometimes it’s can be that you are carrying too much on your own, feeling far from the person you want to be.
In our sessions, we will gently explore what has been shaping you, your experiences, relationships, what is happening now, and how this shows up emotionally and in your body. We can go at your pace, without judgment, focusing on what feels most important to you.
I offer a warm, grounded, comfortable space where you can bring whatever is weighing on you. That might be anxiety, low mood, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, work stress, burnout, grief, or a sense that something needs attention.
I have worked with people from many walks of life, including NHS professionals, creatives, executives, teachers, students, engineers, performers and more. My aim is that you leave sessions feeling heard, understood and less alone.
When booking, any of our in person sessions can be changed to a virtual session. Book your session first and then pop the therapist and hey@theselfspace.com an email to let them know.
