A bit about me

Hello, I am Mark and I am a systemic psychotherapist. I have worked in the NHS for 20 years and privately with adults, couples, families, young people and children experiencing a wide range of mental health and associated relationship difficulties such as depression, anxiety, trauma and eating disorders. I draw on systemic, social constructionist, narrative, solution focused, attachment and evidence-based approaches, such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy in my therapy.

My therapeutic approach is warm, friendly and compassionate. I aim to develop a safe space collaboratively with you in which you can understand the problems you are facing within the contexts of your histories, your relationships and your current life situations. I also consider with you the different aspects of your identity, your strengths and resources and how these all contribute towards your lived experience.

By exploring with you your own hopes and goals, considering different perspectives and possibilities for new understanding, ways of communicating and relating, I aim to support you towards meaningful changes in your lives and relationships.
