Welcome. I’m Penny, a qualified life coach and mentor, and I’m in my final year as a BSc integrative counselling student. After many years of working in finance, I finally returned to my roots, pursuing what I wanted to do years ago: training as a therapist and life coach.
I am passionate about helping people and seeing them grow to live fulfilling lives, whatever that looks like for them individually. As a mentor and life coach over the last seven years, I have provided guidance and support to individuals, families, teenagers and adults, addressing a variety of life challenges, including traumatic childhood experiences, parenting concerns, and general life struggles. I have extensive experience working with teenage students in alternative education settings, particularly those who are neurodivergent individuals and have high sensory conditions, ADHD, Autism, and other learning difficulties.
During our sessions, I can offer you a collaborative, safe, and compassionate space where everyone is accepted as a whole person, regardless of your background, circumstances, faith or culture.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and work primarily from a relational and pluralistic framework, believing that all therapies are beneficial and that a one-size-fits-all approach is not suitable.
I draw from a rich variety of modalities, including person-centred, CBT, psychodynamic techniques and others that incorporate mindfulness, imagery, self-compassion, creativity and clients’ strengths.
I am a down-to-earth and easy-going person; together, we can build a therapeutic, honest and safe relationship and explore whatever is troubling you, whether it’s anxiety, depression, burnout, or any other personal challenges. We can work through these issues to find the best fit of therapeutic tools that empower your healing journey.
