Deirdre Rigby

Deirdre approaches her role as an integrative counsellor with compassion and integrity. Her role as a counsellor is grounded in a fusion of academic and humanistic practice. This allows the client to become aware of any suppressed feelings/pain they may be holding. Deirdre is experienced working with anxiety, bereavement, disassociation, post-traumatic stress disorder, phobias, divorce, depression abuse and anger. She believes that the relationship between the counsellor and the client is vital in the client’s journey of unpacking and getting to know themselves. Deirdre is warm and ensures that her clients always feel valued and respected.
