I am Noelle and have been a therapist for over 20 years. I originally trained as a Dramatherapist. I have worked for most of that time with people who have experienced many levels of trauma, often considered outside the reach of psychotherapy. I also have extensive experience in supporting bereaved people. I offer a safe space where you can bring yourself and whatever is troubling you at the moment. In sessions with me there is no agenda. I believe that the most important part of being human is our ability and our need to be connected to others in our life. However, this is also sometimes the cause of our pain. I believe that through offering you a warm, supportive space where you can just be without judgment, you will begin to gain trust in the therapeutic relationship. I will listen carefully and from time to time reflect on any thoughts I have that may be helpful to you. If you feel stuck I may offer you some creative ways to enable you to reflect but only if these feel right for you. Everything we do will be at your pace. We may sometimes think together about what would help you to move forward. We may set some simple steps to try but setting goals is not the aim. Change can happen just from building trust with someone who is able to fully witness where you are right now. Most importantly the therapy space is yours and I will encourage you to become an active partner with me in helping you get to a better place.
