A bit about me

I truly believe in creating a safe space in which clients feel held, heard, supported and accepted. My approach is collaborative, person-centred and tailored to meet clients unique needs. Stemming from my approach, my therapeutic style is empathetic, warm and inclusive. I believe in building safe and trusting relationships with clients, while understanding that this space may be the one time that they have experienced such safety; being trauma informed is key for me when working with clients.

I have worked with numerous clients presenting with many different life issues. My experience includes working with Addiction (whether substance misuse or behavioural) including with family members and loved ones of people who have addiction issues. I also have experience working with family dynamics and dysfunction, disordered eating, childhood trauma, PTSD (due to war), and relationship issues. In general, I have gained experience working with clients around sexual health, bullying, body dysmorphia,  gender transition, and neurodivergence, including Autism and ADHD.

I have been in practice for 14 years; finding my way into therapy was a true gift. Being heard and valued was an experience I will never forget. I believe in working together and building resilience to aid you on the therapeutic journey from the unconscious into your awareness. Through this work together you will be able to look at your belief system and make informed decisions about the changes you want to make in your life.
