Come along and experience our top-rated trainings via a 1-hour taster session.
Mental Health Champions
Monday 23rd September, 3 - 4pm
Self Space trained Mental Health Champion is someone who takes action to raise awareness of mental health, challenges stigma and positively shifts the culture around talking about how we feel at work.
Our training teaches how to do this not just through awareness, or an ability to signpost to appropriate support services (although that’s helpful too) — but to act as leaders, listeners and culture influencers. It gives them the skills to properly support others and themselves equally.
In this taster session, we’ll investigate what it means to genuinely and empathetically attend to mental health within the workplace as a compassionate colleague. You’ll experience some of the learning, practices and activities from the main CPD sessions. Giving you an opportunity to test the waters of what it really means to be a mental health champion, and how you can be impactful to not only your own workplace culture, but the people around you at work, in human and connected ways.
Expect tools, knowledge and meaningful takeaways.

Tools For Leaders
Tuesday 24th September, 3 - 4pm
The landscape has shifted for managers recently. You might have felt it. Attending to mental health at work has become even more important. But just because it’s something you are challenged to attend to, it doesn’t mean it comes naturally or is a comfortable process.
Join us for a Tools For Leaders Taster Session. Where we’ll invite you into a space of curiosity, for leaders to explore what it means to be a mindful and confident manager when it comes to attending to mental health proactively within the work place.
In this session, we’ll introduce you to some of the main themes, concepts and experiences that you can expect from our full CPD-certified course. We’ll focus on supporting managers to better understand and recognise mental health in the workplace, and you’ll walk away with some immediate and practical tools to begin to explore both for yourself, and with your team.
