Hi I’m Olivia, I’m a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with over 10 years of experience helping individuals and couples in the NHS and private sector. My approach to therapy is collaborative, empathetic, and direct. I believe that therapy should be guided by your unique needs and goals.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is particularly good if you’re feeling low, struggling with your self-esteem, or anxious (this could include general anxiety, OCD, social anxiety, panic). It helps look at day to day patterns of your thoughts, behaviours and emotions and how these may be informed by past experiences and beliefs. By understanding these patterns, we can work on challenging them to create meaningful, lasting change.
When working with couples, I focus on understanding how each partner’s behaviors, thought patterns, and environment impact the relationship. We’ll explore techniques to improve communication and strengthen your connection, helping you build a healthier, more connected relationship.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting people through a wide range of difficulties, including depression, eating disorders, OCD, PTSD, social anxiety, relationship issues, stress, low self-esteem and have worked a lot with mothers pre and post birth with feelings of anxiety or low mood. I’m here to help you navigate whatever challenges you’re facing.
Olivia is not currently taking on new clients.
