I am an Integrative Therapist, Somatic Practitioner, and spiritually grounded guide, robustly trained in treating eating disorders and providing supervision in this field. Being integrative means I draw from different approaches and adapt the therapy to each person rather than following a single model. I specialise in working with people navigating binge–restrict cycles, body shame, and the patterns that can develop around food and self-image.
My work is informed by psychodynamic therapy, exploring how early experiences shape current relationships, self-image, and emotional wellbeing. By combining somatic practice with psychodynamic therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, I support clients to understand what is happening beneath the surface and to develop new ways of relating to themselves.
I am LGBTQ+ affirming and welcome clients from all backgrounds. Clients often describe me as thoughtful, grounded, and deeply attuned, bringing both psychological depth and spiritual presence into the therapeutic space.
When booking, any of our in person sessions can be changed to a virtual session. Book your session first and then pop the therapist and hey@theselfspace.com an email to let them know.
