As we grow, we continue to deliver on our mission to transform and modernise mental health culture by supporting individuals and companies to reach their full potential and we are looking for brilliant talented people to grow with us.

- We’re compassionately disruptive
- We take care of ourselves seriously
- We take responsibility
- We feedback generously
Who we are looking for:
We’re looking for an experienced manager with strong clinical skills to help take us to the next level in our service offerings. We need a qualified therapist (Degree or higher) who not only has solid leadership experience but also knows how to drive an organisation forward. We want someone who can balance overseeing the clinical side of our work while driving the performance of the clinical team to ensure they grow alongside us. The person in this role will oversee the therapeutic services at a couple of our locations, including the day-to-day management of the therapy being provided, developing and motivating the team of therapists, and
handling any day-to-day issues that come up.
You’ll be responsible for all aspects of clinical service delivery and, when needed, will work alongside the HR manager on staff acquisition and retention, making sure standards are adhered to, providing pastoral care to clinicians in your area, handling safeguarding matters, resolving complaints, and supporting training and policy development. Working with the Clinical Leadership team, you’ll ensure that there’s effective coverage for safeguarding escalations and other therapeutic issues when they arise. You’ll also collaborate closely with the front-of-house teams to resolve any customer care issues while making sure that your team’s CPD needs, performance issues, and service delivery are all running smoothly. We want you to truly step into these spaces and be on top of everything therapy-related – this is your team to develop, from performance improvement to organising a pizza night!
Additionally, you’ll own specific areas of policy or product, becoming a subject matter expert in-house and advising on service delivery across the organisation. And, of course, you’ll lead by example, providing therapy in the locations you manage to stay hands-on and set the standard for the team.
Core Job Role:
● Deputy Role: Step in to provide backup for the Clinical Lead (Ops/People) or Director when needed.
● Ethical Quality Assurance and Development: Keep an eye on and use a pathway to assess the quality of therapy we’re delivering, making sure we’re always leading the way in providing top-notch therapy.
● Business Development: Support site expansion across the UK, help with project and product development, and assist the customer success team with resolving any complaints.
● Therapy Provision: Deliver therapy at one location and manage a caseload for part of your week (around 1-2 days – to be confirmed).
● Clinical Oversight: Oversee the clinical side of service delivery at your locations, act as the Deputy Safeguarding Lead for your area, and handle complaints – escalating only when needed. You’ll also help provide cover in the on-call rota with other Senior Clinicians/Clinical Leads.
● Collaboration: Work closely with other Senior Clinicians when therapists are working across multiple locations or when developing workstreams that span the whole company.
● Project Support: Lend a hand with projects and any organisational change, stepping in where needed.
● Standards Maintenance: Make sure we’re delivering high-quality service and sticking to standards, including record accuracy, system and room efficiency, complaint resolution, and regulatory compliance (DBS/ICO, etc.) in your area of responsibility.
● Pastoral Care: Support the clinical team in delivering therapy in your area, including regular 1-2-1s and team development opportunities.
● Senior Leadership: Step in for the Clinical Director and lead Senior Leaders in meetings and training to make sure everything’s running smoothly across the organisation.
● Uphold Values: Keep the Self Space values in focus and step in if they’re ever not being upheld.
● Assessment Scheme: Support the enhanced assessment scheme, including running assessments, debriefing outcomes, and tracking client progress.
● On-Call Cover: Provide on-call cover for weekends as part of the Clinical Leadership rota.
● Organisational Development: Help the Clinical Leads with delivering their areas of the business and manage portfolios when needed.
