About the role:

We’re looking for a Sales Manager (Individual Contributor) to help us develop and close new business within the mid-market space. You will work in a fast-paced sales environment selling Self Space’s services to prospective customers. You will work with inbound leads as well as prospect and generate outbound leads, helping our prospective customers choose Self Space as their Mental Health Service partner. While working in a hybrid work arrangement, a blend of virtual and in Self Space’s London office (coming soon) you will report to the Head of Sales.

What you’ll do:

● Successfully acquire new business customers within our target verticals (creative, commerce, legal & software) in order to achieve individual quota targets. Respond and action internal leads while also prospecting and generating your own external leads.
● Navigate sales cycles from value creation to negotiation and closing, and present the value of our solutions to prospective senior level customers. Forecast and close new business revenue every month.
● Proactively seek out insightful market and industry information in order to effectively develop rapport with mid-market customers. Recommend relevant services by offering a unique mix from the range of Self Space offerings to solve clients business challenges. Recommend appropriate third party partner solutions to meet customer needs and build a differentiated pitch for our customers.
● Partner with our pre & post sales teams to navigate roadblocks and objections, ensuring customer success and long term value for the customer.
● Manage, track and report sales activities and results through Hubspot.
● Facilitate a warm handoff to the customer team following the close of the initial customer sale to ensure a smooth customer transition and onboarding.
● Provide day to day peer support with training new team members as they onboard and develop their sales skills.
● Perform other related duties as required.

What you’ll need:

● Considerable relevant B2B sales experience OR lead generation/business development representative experience (experience in software considered an asset); proven ability to achieve or exceed assigned quotas.
● Ability to focus on client business value, return on investment, and customer solutions (not features-focused selling).
● Experience crafting sales plans for your vertical/territory and building/executing on your account/territory plans.
● Open Communication: clearly conveys thoughts, both written and verbally, listening attentively and asking questions for clarification and understanding.

Salary: £50K base (£80k OTE)
