Emily (she/they) is an approachable, down to earth and compassionate therapist. She works from a Person-Centred philosophy, meaning the essence of their approach is to work with you in a warm, supportive, non-judgmental relationship. It’s in this kind of relationship that you can reconnect with yourself, find your voice and develop a clearer understanding of any changes you need to make. Sessions with Emily are client-led, and together you’ll explore the parts of your experience and life that might feel painful, stuck, or that need paying attention to. Emily has experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, losses in all their forms, grief, trauma, relationship difficulties, themes around identity, concerns with work and many other issues. Emily’s practice is LGBTQ+ affirming and you will be welcome, as you are, with whatever is bringing you to therapy.
